In just a few days, I had learned so much about the search engine and the applications of the internet. From search engines like meta search, Google and subject directories like yahoo is used to evaluate the results of the website. At first I thought that I would not be able to manage my time well to submit my work on time as i had not been updating my blog and constantly procrastinating and thus thought had to rush all of the works. But as you can see the hard work without playing for straight two days had pay off well.It was an indescribable and wonderful learning experience. This is my first time using the information on Wiki as this is not usually my style to use wiki as i normally use search engine to find research thus being able to use the blog for researching is indeed a professional way and smart way to do research. Citations are also learned.

On the first day of lesson, the teacher told us to use metaphor where you apply adverb and adjective to describe me in a nice and positive way. I used the verb kind to describe myself as i had no idea what my name can put. Thus i feel that it is a fun and enjoyable experience learned.

Reflection on tutorial 5 and 6 - Twitter and Blog

I learn a lot of how to use the twitter and blog for research easier.

I had did not blog or use twitter before there fore i faced difficulty at first in creating and fully using the blog.

I suggested that the next batch of dpa students should not drag the blog entries or they will have a very hell of a time in finishing their work.

No i prefer to use the normal search engine as it is more useful to me and i am not adapted to the twitter.

Thus i can learn that blogging can avoid defaming others or posting racist or religious comments but May lead to legal consequences under Sedition Act and Undesirable Publications.

Thus this is the end of my post.

Lessons learn from this tutorial :

Twitter had enhanced my learning by dealing with down sides and future directions change.

Create a blog only when you need one
write interesting, articulate and opinionated blog articles

Ensure correct spelling and grammar

Provide a citation of the source of information used on your blog

Submit regular posts

Twitter and Blog spot can post up information for research topics thus people can comment and put up relevant information and thus easier to take in information. The unsafe part is that the information may be irregular and may not be supported.

Citizen journalism (also known as "public", "participatory", "democratic" or "street journalism") is the concept of members of the public "playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing and disseminating news and information," according to the seminal 2003 report We Media: How Audiences are Shaping the Future of News and Information. Authors Bowman and Willis say: "The intent of this participation is to provide independent, reliable, accurate, wide-ranging and relevant information that a democracy requires."

The topic we learn is on citizen journalism!
We do group work and work on jack neo scandal in stomp!
Presented at the end of the day.
we learn of the meaning of citizen journalism and summarized that it is about people posting comments on article and most of then are not positive.
Anybody can put up the information up and there is no control over the site.
It is thus not reliable and cannot be trusted.

Search Features of Google is to analyze the text written and to provide massive search results sometimes related and some times unrelated. Also search the whole web page so that there will be more search result too.

Meta crawler searches information from many searh engine like google and yahoo thus it provides only little but relevant information.

Yahoo had searches that search the related and unrelated. It also searches through the net and thus have massive search results like Google.
